I made homemade Greeting cards since my early days of being in grade school. Maybe it was because I couldn't afford the price of a Hallmark card. Or maybe I didn't like the canned feel of most greeting cards out on the market. Or maybe, finally just maybe, they never said what I wanted them to say.
So I embarked on making greeting cards, and over the years I have come up with different ones that inspire either laughter or puzzled furrowed brows. The "What was he thinking" look elicited by some of these cars has given me no end of enjoyment, almost as much as the laughter simply because I like to sometimes create something that is my own little private joke.
As far as what type of greeting cards I create, I have made anything from the sweetly sincere to the downright ironic and bizarre.
HOLIDAYS
From New Years Eve to Christmas, I have created Greeting cards for all these occasions. some of my favorites have been places on this web site. They include the Christmas cards that has me revamped as Santa Claus, My TV Guide Christmas Card, The Frost Family Christmas Card, and finally the strange Christmas card with the Statue of Liberty in it.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS
This covers other occasions that government officials do not get paid vacation for. Such examples of this are birth announcements, Graduation, Losing the first tooth, Birthday's, Get Well soon Cards, etc.
MISCELLANEOUS
This covers cards of friendship, a budding romance, congratulations on your recent divorce, etc. I have also included in this area of my site a few of the first cards that I ever created.
For those of you interested in getting a custom made greeting card of your own, I am currently excepting assignments on a per contract basis.
For those of you interested, all original artwork in electronic and any other specified form will be transferred when the contract is complete.
Just think of it, a customized greeting card with a message for that special someone in your life and done in a fashion that they will remember for years.
Sure I could give you testimonials about how those who have a birthday or Christmas card felt when they received it, but it would be cheesy and low-brow.
I would rather let the material speak for itself. Please feel free to look through the gallery of greeting cards. If you have any thoughts or ideas, questions or comments, please contact me!

Here's a little history of the Greeting Card company name as seen on the back of my card and the number of changes it went through.
Originally it was called "Al Davis Greetings" sporting the logo of the face you see on the left side of the page. This would be around the mid 1970's.
After seeing a Hallmark special with motto "We do our very best to bring the very best." I had to do a spoof. So I came up with Small-Marked Cards with the legend "WE do our Very Best to Bring the Very Worst.
When I went digital I decided to avoid possible legal hassles by changing it back to Al Davis Greetings, but after some debate, I changed it to Jimzworld Greetings instead. This bring us up to date.
For awhile though I toyed around with the prospect of renaming the card company simply "J" and maybe put under it...the company formerly known as Jimzworld Greetings." That, sadly, took up way too much space.
